God of Abraham

It is the fact that I, as a temporal, finite being, have the ability to perceive the concept of the Infinite, gives me hope.

But the God we believe in is not the impersonal God of Aristotle or Spinoza, but the God of Abraham, who cares for His creation and has filled the universe with Good and Loving-kindness.

The question of the meaning of life

People often ask the question: "what's the meaning of life?"

The problem is that they are asking the wrong question. The question they should be asking is this: "is there meaning to existence or is there not?"

It is a yes or no question to which it is impossible to know which is correct. 

So we must make a choice and there are consequences to that choice. Then you can ask - IF there is meaning, what is it? Where do "I" as a temporal being fit into all of this? 

These are the questions an individual should ask him or herself.
